We are not a rescue and are unable to take cats from the public, but we often find friendly cats and kittens in our colonies and foster them until we can get them homes.
If you are interested in a feline friend, below are the current adoptable cats! To schedule a meet and greet or to learn more, email SkywayCatsSouth@gmail.com.
Adoption fees are $50 for kittens and $40 for adult cats. All cats will be fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped before going to their furever home.
Liza is a fluffy Maine Coon mix, about a year old. She loves brushing more than any cat we've ever seen and will sit for it as long as you'll oblige her She will also greet you and weave between your legs when she wants food or brushing. She loves Churus and tuna treats and is quite vocal when she expects to get one. Liza is, however, quite shy otherwise and she'll need a patient adopter to gain her trust. If you'd like to meet Liza, please email skywaycatssouth@gmail.com or text Kim at 727-742-2618.
Pistachio is about 8 weeks old kitten who was living outside in a trailer park cat colony. Pistachio was pretty malnourished when she was found, but is currently getting all the best kitty food, sleeping in fluffy blankets, and getting any necessary medications. We are currently unsure of Pistachio's gender, but will be getting Pistachio fixed and vaccinated in about a month when he/she is 2 pounds. Though he/she is not ready to go to her furever home yet, you can still submit or an adoption application or meet Pistachio. Email us at skywaycatssouth@gmail.com.
Hazel is about 4 weeks old kitten who was living outside in a trailer park cat colony. Hazel was pretty malnourished when she was found, but is currently getting all the best kitty food, sleeping in fluffy blankets, and getting any necessary medications. We are currently unsure of Hazel's gender, but will be getting Hazel fixed and vaccinated in about a month when he/she is 2 pounds. Though he/she is not ready to go to her furever home yet, you can still submit or an adoption application or meet Hazel. Email us at skywaycatssouth@gmail.com.
Benji is a sophisticated art-world cat, cared for currently by the kind folks at the Duncan McClellan Gallery in St. Petersburg. Benji has enjoyed greeting visitors and hanging out with the other cats in his foster home, but he'd like a more permanent arrangement. He's friendly, playful, with a great personality. He's probably just a year or two old, and he's neutered, vaccinated and ready for adoption. If you'd like to know more about Benji or meet him (and see some cool glass art), please contact Irene at 727-642-7226.
Snowy is a 5-6 week old kitten that had a rough start to life. Her (we think a girl) feral mother got hit by a car and was left all alone. Fortunately, a person brought her to one of our fosters to take care of. Snowy is super sweet and friendly already. She needs to get her shots and be fixed, so she will be ready to go to her furever home in a few weeks. However, you can meet her already! Email skywaycatssouth@gmail.com to schedule a time and to fill out an adoption application.
Honey is about 4 weeks old kitten who was living outside in a trailer park cat colony. Honey was pretty malnourished when she was found, but is currently getting all the best kitty food, sleeping in fluffy blankets, and getting any necessary medications. We are currently unsure of Honey's gender, but will be getting Honey fixed and vaccinated in about a month when he/she is 2 pounds. Though he/she is not ready to go to her furever home yet, you can still submit or an adoption application or meet Honey. Email us at skywaycatssouth@gmail.com.
