How to Help

All donations are used for the care, feeding, and fostering of the cats. Aside from monthly food bills of several hundred dollars, our fostering expenses are substantial. Spay/neuter surgery and vaccines alone for one cat cost about $100 and additional vet visits for sick or injured cats often cost hundreds more. No amount is too small to help.

Although we are not a rescue, we remove friendly cats and kittens from our colonies and help to find them homes. All of them must be fostered so we can observe how they adjust first. In 2023, just a few volunteers fostered around 50 cats. If you sign up to foster with us, we’ll provide everything you need. Learn more by emailing us at skywaycatssouth@gmail.com.

 We can always use help feeding and taking care of the South Skyway Fishing Pier colony. We go every day to feed, water, and neaten up the colony. It usually takes less than an hour. If you can help feed one day a week, one day a month, or fill in for our regular volunteers when they are on vacation, it would be a great help. Please e-mail us at skywaycatssouth@gmail.com.   

As a small nonprofit, it is hard to get the word out about what we do. If you host an event or fundraiser in the community that it would be beneficial for us to be apart of, let us know!
